Andhra CM's brother-in-law Harikrishna dies in road accident

Tollywood actor and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader  Nandamuri Harikrishna succumbed to his injuries after he met with an accident in Telangana's Nalgonda district on Wednesday morning.   Harikrishna was the fourth son of late former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP founder NT Rama Rao and brother-in-law of incumbent state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Harikrishna had received multiple injuries. He died while undergoing treatment. According to the police, the accident took place at the Anaparthy highway, 100 km away from Hyderabad, when the former's parliamentarian's car turned turtle after the person on the driving seat lost control over the vehicle. In 2014, Harikrishna's son Janakiram also died in an accident near Nalgonda. Harikrishna is survived by his wife, daughter Sushasini and two sons Kalyan Ram and Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, both are Tollywood actors. Telangana Chief Minister K. Vajpayee's health continues to remain critical, on life support: AIIMS

Guleria has served as personal physician to Vajpayee for over three decades Former prime minister  Atal Bihari Vajpayee  's condition continues to remain critical, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) said in a statement on Thursday. "Our helicopter did meet with an accident in Latur but me and my team is absolutely safe and ok. Nothing to worry," Fadnavis tweeted after the mishap. A senior official of the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) said it was an accident and the chopper suffered substantial damage. Upping the ante in the crowded compact sedan category, Tata Motors on Wednesday launched   Tata Tigor , its third product in the tax-efficient sub-four metre sedan segment. The biggest selling point for Tigor is its aggressive pricing. At Rs 4.7 lakh for the base petrol variant, Tigor is now the cheapest compact sedan in the country and even undercuts Tata’s existing models. For example, the largest-selling car in the segment - Swift Dzire - starts at Rs 5.27 lakh, while the base petrol version of Indigo CS, from the Tata stable, is priced at Rs 5.03 lakh. Besides Indigo CS, Tata Motors also sells the Zest in the segment, but has not been able to break the dominance of Maruti Suzuki’s Swift Dzire in the category.
