"The honourable Supreme Court had on the last date asked us whether Salman would consent to the Supreme Court hearing the case on merits. China to block India's NSG bid if Pakistan not included Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto on Thursday assured Prime Minister Narendra Modi  of his country’s support to India’s bid for the membership of Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), even as China led five other countries at a meeting of the export control group in Vienna to stall the proposal. According to sources,  China  will approve of India’s membership only if Pakistan  is also included in the elite group. Juvenile Justice Act: No handcuff, prison for children in 16-18 years range No child between 16 and 18 years of age in conflict with law will be handcuffed or sent to jail or lock-up, according to the draft rules of  Juvenile Justice Act  2015 that was released yesterday. The rules that were released by  Women and Child Development  Minister Maneka Gandhi  prescribe detailed child friendly procedures for police, Juvenile Justice Board and Children's court to deal with children in conflict with law. According to the draft rules, proper medical and legal aid will be provided to juvenile criminals and their parents and guardians will be duly informed.
