Charges of anti-Semitism over tweet are 'ridiculous': Donald Trump Donald Trump says Hillary Clinton's campaign is "ridiculous" to portray an anti-Clinton tweet that appeared to depict the Star of David atop a pile of cash as   anti Semitism . In a statement issued by his Republican presidential campaign yesterday evening, Trump suggested Clinton and her allies were using the matter to distract from her own recent campaign troubles. Trump said the tweet portrayed "a basic star, often used by sheriffs who deal with criminals and criminal behaviour," as part of an effort to convey that "Crooked   Hillary Clinton   is the most corrupt candidate ever." It was the presumptive GOP nominee's most extensive comment since his official account tweeted then deleted the image Saturday, sparking uproar over its potentially anti-Semitic connotations. Trump's account later posted a new version with a circle in place of the six-point star. ...

Trump has no answers on substance of facts against him, says Hillary Clinton Presumptive presidential   Democratic   nominee   Hillary Clinton   has alleged that her   Republican   rival   Donald Trump   launched a personal attack against her because he has no answers on the substance of the facts against him. "Look, I know Donald Trump hates it when anyone points out how hollow his sales pitch really is," Clinton told her supporters at an election rally in this key city of North Carolina, hours after Trump called her a "world class liar". "I guess my speech yesterday must have gotten under his skin because right away he lashed out on Twitter with outlandish lies and conspiracy theories, and he did the same in his speech today," she said. "Now think about it. He's going after me personally because he has no answers on the substance. In fact, he doubled down on being the 'King of Debt'. So all he can do is try to distract us. Th...

Donald Trump questions Hillary Clinton's commitment to her Christian faith Presumptive Republican presidential nominee   Donald Trump   has questioned his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton's commitment to her Christian faith, saying that little is known about her spiritual life even though she has been in the public eye for decades. "We don't know anything about Hillary in terms of religion," Trump told a group of evangelical leaders. A video of the meeting was posted on social media. "Now, she's been in the public eye for years and years, and yet there's no - there's nothing out there," he said. "There's like nothing out there. It's going to be an extension of Obama but it's going to be worse, because with Obama you had your guard up. With Hillary you don't, and it's going to be worse," 70-year-old Trump said. In response to Trump's remarks, the Clinton campaign released a statement by evangel...

Will make identifying lone wolves a top priority: Hillary Clinton

Will make identifying lone wolves a top priority: Hillary Clinton Ridiculing Donald Trump over his fixation with the phrase "radical Islam", presumptive Democratic presidential nominee   Hillary Clinton   has said her Republican rival's "reckless" ideas like banning Muslims from entering the US would put the country in greater danger. Clinton alleged that Trump's remarks have become inflammatory in the aftermath of the Orlando terrorist attack by an Afghan-origin American youth. 68-year-old Clinton said it is apparent that   Donald Trump   does not seem to grasp any of the issues. "He has been fixated on the phrase, and I quote, 'radical Islam', as if those are magic words that, once uttered, will stop terrorists from coming after us," she charged. Trump, she alleged, wants to ban all Muslims from entering our country and suspend immigration from large parts of the world. "His comments have become even more inflammatory...

Donald Trump a 'fraud', trying to scam people of US: Hillary Clinton

Donald Trump a 'fraud', trying to scam people of US: Hillary Clinton The war of words between  Hillary Clinton  and  Donald Trump  today intensified as the Democratic presidential frontrunner accused the Republican presumptive presidential nominee of "scamming" the American people after he got embroiled in a fresh 'Trump University' controversy. "He (Trump) is trying to scam America the way he scammed all those people at Trump University. It's important that we recognise what he has done, because that's usually a pretty good indicator of what he will do," Clinton said at an election rally in New Jersey. "Today, we're learning about another scam: the so-called Trump University. The New York Attorney General is suing Donald Trump for fraud," she alleged. "And his own employees testified - I want you to hear this - his own employees testified that  Trump University  - you can't make this up - that Trump Univers...

US presidential primaries: Bernie Sanders wins West Virginia by 15% points

Image
US presidential primaries: Bernie Sanders wins West Virginia by 15% points Vermont senator   Bernie Sanders   today won the   West Virginia   primary defeating Democratic presidential frontrunner   Hillary Clinton   by more than 15% points even as the former US secretary of state looks set to secure the party nomination. However, Sanders' win is unlikely to prevent Clinton from emerging as the presumptive Democratic nominee, given that she has a massive lead over him in the delegates count. At a campaign rally in Oregon, Sanders acknowledged that he has an uphill climb in terms of becoming the party's nominee, but said he would continue his fight till the end of the primary season. As a consolation, Clinton won the   Nebraska   primary, but she is not getting any delegate from it. The delegates were allocated in the March 5 primary, which was won by Sanders. Clinton received 10 delegates as against Sanders' 15. In the Republican party, t...

Clinton, 68, has a distinct advantage over her sole primary rival Senator Bernie Sanders, 74, from Vermont.

US presidential primaries: Trump maintains stand on banning Muslims, deporting illegal immigrants Republican presumptive presidential nominee   Donald Trump   has reiterated his stand on banning Muslims from entering the US and deporting illegal immigrants out of the country. The rival Hillary Clinton campaign immediately slammed Trump asserting that the former secretary of state would not tolerate this divisive and dangerous direction as the US President. A day after he became a presumptive nominee, Trump refused to budge down from his primary election season's controversial rhetoric'sin a series of interviews. In an interview with   CNN , Trump did not back away from his proposal to temporarily ban all foreign Muslims from entering the US. At the same time, he said he would work with Muslim countries in the fight against terrorism. But the onus for this is on those countries first, he argued.
