The offer will begin at 5.01 PM on Friday, the timing that reflects the Rs 501 price tag of the JioPhone Mukesh Ambani-led  Reliance Jio  has advanced by a day to July 20 the launch of its monsoon 'hungama' scheme that would offer its JioPhone to customers for Rs 501, a company source said. Earlier, in the annual general meeting of Reliance Industries, Ambani had announced that the scheme will begin from July 21. The offer will begin at 5.01 PM on Friday, the timing that reflects the Rs 501 price tag of the JioPhone. The registration for new JioPhone is already live on the official website of Relaince Jio. "Jio will start monsoon hungama scheme from 5.01 pm on July 20. Even the timing has been kept to reflect effective price of the phone," the source told PTI. The approved product is a generic version of Daiichi Sankyo Inc's Welchol Health News  : Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has received final approval from the US health regulator for Colesevelam Hydrochloride for oral suspension, used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood. The approval has been granted by the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) in the strengths of 1.875 grams/packet and 3.75 grams/packet, the company said in a BSE filing on Tuesday. The approved product is a generic version of Daiichi Sankyo Inc's Welchol. Quoting IQVIA sales data for the 12-month period ended May 2018, the company said Welchol achieved annual sales of around $73 million. The company's current portfolio consists of 138 products authorised for distribution in the US market, and 62 Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) are pending approval with the USFDA, it added.  Read Complete Article

Govt ready for debate on any issue raised by political parties: PM Modi Calling for extensive discussion in Parliament's  Monsoon session  which began on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that his government was ready for debate on any issue raised by political parties. Modi told reporters that discussion on several issues is necessary in national interest and urged political parties to make maximum use of the time available in the session, which will continue till August 10. He said he had always hoped for a productive session and striven for this and his government would continue to do so. Washington is said to have indicated to New Delhi that the Trump administration is favourably considering the invite India has invited US President Donald Trump to be the chief guest for next year's  Republic Day 2019  parade, the Times of India reported on Friday.
