Multiple income-tax raids on Apollo group hospitals


The Income Tax (I-T) Department is conducting raids on hospitals owned by the Apollo group, one of the leading hospital chains in the country.
Company officials and promoters were not available for comment.
Apollo’s PR agency confirmed the raids were happening and said they would issue a statement later.
According to sources, 250 I-T sleuths were involved in searches at about 20 hospitals in Chennai alone. Read More

Amazon now has customers in 100% serviceable pin-codes in India: Jeff Bezos

Bezos, in a letter to customers, said that Amazon now has customers in 100 per cent serviceable pin-codes in the country and is shipping packages from more than 50 fulfillment locations in 13 states. NSG to take up Pakistan, India's membership requests this week The Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) 2016 annual plenary, which begins in   Seoul   on Monday, will take up membership requests from both   India   and   Pakistan   on June 23-24.
