100 smart cities mission one is one of the most advance mission of India in the history of India. Moreover the mission has taken the concern of all the public of the nation and even different nation started thinking that India will soon become the top hub of world.
The centre has selected 98 cities for the mission and the dead line was given to the concern state to submit their final proposal draft of the smartcities and this should reveal how they would like to design their smart cities. It was also reported that out of the 98 cities 97 cities have submitted their final proposal and the Indian Government is on its way for selecting the first 20 cities of which will be developed as the India’s smart cities.
According to the Indian Express, the given list of some of the main vision of the some of the Smart cities. And it has been said that the final plan of the smart cities are yet be released.
Gandhinagar Smartcity: An institutional hub with adiversified economic base that provides an equitable setting for all to live
Surat Smartcity: Equal access to best quality physical and social infrastructure and efficient mobility through state-of-the-art technology.
Dharamshala Smartcity: To be a smart, sustainable and resilient city with a global imprint and enhanced quality of life for its residents.
Kalyan –Dombivili Smartcities: Facilitate a convenient living habitat for its citizens with excellent transit facilities
Bhubaneswar Smartcity: Promote responsible governance through participatory decision-making and open access to information and technology.
Oulgaret (Puducherry) Smartcity: Focus on tourism and green industry and the concept of ‘work-live-learn-play’ environment.
Udaipur Smartcities: Has coined the concept of ‘Eternal Udaipur’ wherein it will build further on its status as a lakeside heritage city
Agra Smartcity: To further consolidate as a world class heritage city with increased economic opportunities for all citizens.
Saharanpur Smartcity: Promoting and developing local arts and skills
